VLCD Day 4 Lunch: Sashimi and cucumber

Today’s Weight: 162.6
Today’s change: -.6
Total R4 weight lost: -4.4

I had a good Friday – I took the day off from work and did chores around the house.  As mundane as it sounds, it was nice to stop, take a deep breath, and focus on manual labor.  I did stuff that had been needing to get done, including replanting my planters on my back porch with pretty flowers!  Nothing fancy (I’m no horticulturist), but doing it made me happy, and the flowers made me happy.  I will always be that West Texas farm girl who looooves playing in the dirt.

Just a few of my newly replanted flower pots 🙂

My food:  1/2 apple very early morning as I was starving.  The other 1/2 of the apple mid-morning as I was starving again 🙂  After that, it was smooth sailing.  My hunger levels seem to have abated and boy am I glad.  It usually takes me about 3 days of VLCD to get there.  Lunch was sashimi that I picked up at my HEB.  I took, it home, weighed out 100 grams, and relunctantly gave the rest to my lucky dog.  That bit of cucumber is what came with the sashimi, almost none at all, and I didn’t feel like coming up with more than that.  I had flowers waiting on me!  Nothing mid-afternoon although I planned on another 1/2 an apple.  I just didn’t need it.

KO took me to the movies in the evening and we dined at Red Lobster, which is one of the places that I  was pretty sure  I would be able to stay on protocol.  The evil garlic cheese biscuits were not consumed by me, although I did take a big deep whiff of them.  I had the jumbo shrimp cocktail (no cocktail sauce) plus an order of plain steamed asparagus.  The quantities were perfect.   I’m adding Red Lobster to my list of fallback restaurants for P2.

VLCD Day 5 Dinner: Boiled shrimp and asparagus

A bit more housework this morning, then I’m getting my hair done.  Yay!  Who knows, I might go get my nails done after that.  I may like to play in the dirt but I sure don’t like my nails to LOOK like I played in the dirt 😛

Love, hugs, have a great Saturday! xoxo
