ACK!!  Oh well.  Yesterday I had two chicken-feta-sausages for breakfast, and two more for lunch.  TRHM took me out for dinner at Wild Fish grill, where I ordered snapper topped with crab and mushrooms and sauteed spinach.  When the snapper arrived it was breaded, and it was not described like this on the menu.  I was not happy about it at all, but I ate it anyway.  Well about half of it.  And I had some berries with fresh whipped cream for dessert.

Now that my break is over I’m considering this just a continuation of Round 2 VLCD, so VLCD Day 29 officially commences.  Hopefully this will all go as planned.

Cheers!

Better.  Just had my second injection so tomorrow will be VLCD, yippee.  I went to Costco yesterday and bought cucumbers, spinach, tomatoes, and asparagus so I’m ready.

My meals today:  Breakfast was 2 chicken-spinach-feta sausages.  For lunch I just had a plain hot dog.  For dinner we went to Chuy’s and I had their mexi-cobb salad, which is a salad with grilled chicken, avocado, green chile, cheese.  And of course jalapeno ranch dressing and lots of salsa.  Yum!

I’m getting a little anxious to get back on P2.  Monday will be here soon though.  Dr. S says this about P2 interruption intervals:   If the interval lasts less than two weeks the patient can directly resume injections and the 500-Calorie diet, but if the interruption lasts longer he must again eat normally until he has had his third injection.   In my case my interruption will have been three weeks and I’m interpreting Dr. S’s statement to mean normal P3 eating for two injection days.  That’s my plan.  I only have to decide whether to start injections on Sat or Mon.   But I’ll probably start them on Saturday.

Which reminds me –  my weekend plans have already changed – the ex-inlaws are coming to my house over the weekend and I’m not going to Austin.  So doing injections over the weekend will be less of a challenge.  Yes I’m rambling a bit 🙂  At least I’m writing something eh.  I’ve kind of felt empty inside all week, like all the thoughts and ideas and words just bled out  and left me dry.  That should correct itself over time.

I have a friend at work who is starting HCG next week too – she is as excited to start as I was when I first started.  I know she will see great success and I am happy for her!  HCG rocks!

My meals:  eggs with chorizo for breakfast (I’m living on the edge having eggs again!!  WOO HOOOO!).  Lunch was grilled chicken topped with sliced avocado, pico de gallo and sour cream, accompanied by sauteed spinach and steamed green beans.  Dinner was two Nathan’s hot dogs with mustard (just hot dogs, no bread).

I also had to make yet another cake for work tonight.  German Chocolate this time.  Check out my fabulous recipe:  http://bluecooks.com/?p=787.  It smells muy bueno amigas!  Pero soy fuerte. ..no quiero que ningún.

Sitting here, trying to think about something to write about today, or if there is something that I want to talk about….hmmm….can’t come up with much.  Usually if I just say that I don’t have something to talk about I actually prove myself wrong, but so far it hasn’t worked.  Nope, I really don’t have anything to talk about, my peeps.

My meals:  1 Nathan’s hot dog for breakfast (plain, no bun).  I know, it’s a weird breakfast, but it was have that or nothing at all.  For lunch I had a salad with grilled chicken.  Dinner was grilled salmon over salad.  I was obviously on a salad kick.

I’m ready for the weekend – how about you??

Belly dancing last night and again tonight.  I LOVE belly dancing!  I am totally into it now and I have great aspirations of becoming very accomplished!  It will take some time but I have that. And the willingness.

My meals:  eggs with chorizo for breakfast.  Lunch was a hamburger patty, steamed broccoli and a salad with blue cheese dressing.  For dinner I had a deconstructed ribeye sandwich – 8 oz ribeye, lettuce, tomato, and onion.  Threw the bread away.

I’m  debating on when to start P2 again.  I had planned all along for a two week break, which would mean starting P2 tomorrow.  But I will be taking my Tommy-licious to see family in Austin this coming weekend.  As many times as I’ve NOT let life interfere with P2 I’m thinking this time I just might.  The thought of having to explain why I’m eating so little AND traveling with injections to my ex-inlaws is just too much.  So I’m probably going to start P2 on Monday March 8th.  That will keep things simple for me, and I think that is important right now.

My meals:  2 devilled eggs and 2 leftover grilled shrimp for breakfast.  I had leftover lamb chops, shrimp, and kohlrabi for lunch.  Dinner was chinese food, I had a bit of garlic chicken and black bean chicken with no rice.

Monday already, BLAH.  I’m so not feeling it today.

My meals:  a couple of cold shrimp and one devilled egg for breakfast.  For lunch I had leftover lamb chops and two more shrimp.  For dinner I made roasted chicken with rosemary and kohlrabi – LOVED the kohlrabi, talk about delicious.  I’ve never had it or cooked it before, and boy was I missing out.  It’s yummy!

Crazy TOM!!  I’m sure glad to be closer to 160.*.  I was a little down in the dumps yesterday, probably because of TOM and partly because of things that are going on.  If extreme mood swings were my goal of the day then I accomplished that and then some.  Just to remind myself:  Self, everything is going to be ok.  You are beautiful, you are strong,  you are worthy of the best.  You’re good enough, you’re smart enough, and gosh darn it people like you!  LOL I always did love me some Stuart Smalley.  Also Jack Handy, who was wise enough to say things like:  If God dwells inside us, like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that’s what He’s getting!”

Laughing ALWAYS makes me feel better 🙂

My meals:  2 chicken-apple sausages for breakfast.  Sashimi and cucumbers for lunch.  I pretty much went all out for dinner and cooked comfort food – but I did manage to cook P3 friendly comfort food.  I made grilled rack of lamb, grilled (GIANT) shrimp stuffed with jalapenos and wrapped in bacon, sauteed green beens with tomatoes, onion, and garlic, and devilled eggs.  Yes I gambled on the eggs, but I also only had one.  Dinner was spectacular.  And comforting.

Today I’m taking my awesome, handsome, incredibly smart teenage son to the movies, and I think we’ll go dine out somewhere.  Maybe take him for a steak.  I think he would like that.  He sleeps late on the weekends so I’ll ask him when he wakes up.

Today is going to be a beautiful day in San Antonio, I’m off to enjoy it.  Hugs!

God I love TOM. LOL.  Trying to figure out what I’m going to do with my Saturday….my housekeeper (I love the sound of that) is coming today. I’m considering regorganizing the kitchen cabinets while she works.  One of the great things about having her is she is doing to the stuff that I hate (mopping, scrubbing, dusting, etc) and I’m freed up to work on stuff that I’ve been ignoring for a while, like closets and cabinets.  Someday even the frightful garage 🙂

I know my gain is TOM.  My food intake was fine.  Also I reviewed my blog entries during P3 – I see a loss right when TOM starts, then I see a gain.   I’m not going to try to logic my way through the 2.1 gain, I’m just going to move forward.  And, that’s such a lie, I’m totally logic-ing my way through it.  That’s just the way my mind works.  But enough of that.

My meals:  2 chicken-apple sausages for breakfast.  Smokehouse smoked turkey for lunch with green beans.  For dinner I had a fabulous chopped steak with green beans and a squash medley at one of my absolute favorite restaurants (Gristmill) right by Gruene Hall.

Speaking of – Nitty Gritty Dirt Band was incredible, and the opening act was equally impressive.  It was an all girl band called The Tricias – they have mad skills!  They don’t have an album yet but said they will soon, so be on the lookout.  They are mostly a bluegrass kind of band but they also mixed it up with some gospel – LOVED them. GIRL POWER!!  I would go see them again in a skinny minute.  And I shall 🙂

Happy Saturdaaaayyyyy!

Yay!  Double yay because TOM is here.  That actually makes me happy for once because I’ll have another 4-5 days until my break ends – TOM should just about be gone by then and I wouldn’t expect any interference from it for P2.  YESSSS!  Right now I’m thinking two weeks of P2.  I’d like to lose another 10 pounds (for now).  That’s my goal, it remains to be seen if that will actually come about.

My meals:  Coffee with heavy cream for breakfast (nothing else).  Lunch was *alot* of smoked salmon over lettuce – no dressing.  Dinner was a small-ish sirloin steak (probably around 5-6 oz), a few spears of grilled asparagus, and a salad with blue cheese dressing.

I did load up on the  B-6 yesterday because I felt like I was retaining water.  When I feel like this I’ll take 200 MG B-6 three times a day.  This absolutely works for water retention, and it helps with PMS.  Usually I don’t start taking it until TOM actually arrives because I just don’t make the connection (is that silly or what).  One thing HCG has been good for is making me more conscious of my cycle and the blog has enabled to go back and see exact dates etc.  Veerrrry handy stuff.

Headed out to Gruene Hall again tonight to see a band I’ve been wanting and trying to see for 20 years, and that is no exaggeration.  Every time I’ve had the possibility of seeing them in the past something interfered or came up.  Not tonight baby!  I have my tickets in my hot little hand and tonight I’ll be first in line to see Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.  I’m SO excited.  And as I’ve said before, I just love Gruene Hall, it’s a funky little place that reverberates with personality even when the music’s quiet.

Have a wonderful Friday my friends 🙂
